An essential animal feed is extracted soybean meal. Extracted soybean meal, obtained from soybeans using solvents, contains 44-48% protein and 1-2% oil. Residual solvent traces do not exceed 30 mg/kg, which complies with regulations. It is a primary raw material in the feed industry.
Thermally processed "full-fat" soybeans contain 33-35% protein, 18-22% oil, and are rich in essential amino acids, but in some feed formulations, the oil content limits its inclusion.
